FALL PRESBYTERY DETAILS

• Pre-Presbytery Church Vitality Equipping Seminar:

• The Refocus: Church Vitality Seminar allows a church to examine itself, reset its goals, and develop a plan of obedience to the Great Commission of the Lord. Refocus guides your church leaders through a strategic process to assess and enhance the health of your body of believers.
• Friday morning, October 2, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (including lunch) at our host church, Mars Hill Presbyterian Church, Acworth, Georgia.
• Presented by Tim Filston, POSE Church Health Coordinator, and the Church Health and Growth team.

• There is no charge for this event. Presbytery will help with the extra night’s lodging for any attendee requesting it. Contact Stated Clerk, Jeff Chadwick, epcsoutheastjlc@gmail.com, to sign up for that.

• Presbytery Meeting:

• Friday, October 2: Registration opens at 12:00 PM | Presbytery meeting begins at 1:30 PM (please note the earlier start time for this meeting).
• Saturday, October 3: Meeting concludes at 12:30 PM or earlier.
• Friday dinner is $15 (cash or check payable to Mars Hill Presbyterian Church).
• Deadline to register for the Presbytery meeting and dinner reservation: Monday, September 28, at 12:00 PM (noon).

HOTELS

• No hotel blocks have been reserved, so early booking is strongly recommended.

ATTENDANCE

• Teaching Elders are required to attend or request an Excused Absence through the Ministerial Committee. Contact Ken Chivers, MCC Chairman, at kenc@fpcrome.org.
• Candidates supported by the Presbytery are encouraged to participate. The Friday night meal is free for you!
• Observers are more than welcome!
